Find Caregiver - Available Shifts

Offer shifts to caregivers without exposing all open shifts

In some instances, your agency may need to have Open or unstaffed visits and not want the caregivers to see them and inquire.

You can control this through the Caregiver Portal and Caregiver App permissions.

In this example, we have created a new Caregiver role, Contractors, who can view and accept visits that are offered to them by the office staff, but cannot view the unstaffed, or Open, visits or request them.

  1. Create (or modify) a Caregiver Role. Settings>>Home>>Role Management>>Add Role>>Caregiver


  2. The first section is for the Caregiver Portal Permissions

  3. Then, navigate the Mobile settings>>Mobile Role Management. Click on the Modify Permissions icon.

  4. Ensure that you change the Open Shift(s) to No Access. Click Update to save your changes.


  5. In the App and Portal, Caregivers will not be able to view the Open Shifts.



  6. If you would like to offer a visit to the caregiver, ensure that Available Shift(s) is set to Full Access in both the Portal and App permissions.

  7. From the Find Caregiver Screen, you can offer the visit(s) to your caregivers via email (@ icon) and/or SMS (chat icon - charges apply)


  8. The Caregiver will then be able to see the offer via email or SMS, and in the app and portal
