How to enable and configure the Facility Staffing Module in your Caresmartz360 portal

Introduction

Facility Staffing is a module which allows the Facilities to be a part of the CS360 system. Facilities generally have multiple clients/patients under one roof. In this case, the agency is not concerned with each individual client but with the Facility overall.

It is important to note that Facility Staffing does not allow for invoicing of individual clients. If your clients, or a third party on their behalf (Medicaid, VA, Insurance) is billed for services, then Facility Staffing is not the right fit for them. If the clients require a care plan, needs assessment, or tasks to be completed and documented during a visit, Facility Staffing is not the right fit.

This module was built keeping in mind that a Facility should have control over scheduling, like sending schedule requests to Caregivers and Assigning Caregivers to the requested schedules. To make this possible, there are several controls which were opened to the Agency as well, which we’ll discuss in the next sections.

How to match Skill type with Service Type?

Settings > Scheduling > Service Type > Add New/ Edit

Matching the ‘Service type’ with ‘Skill Type’ helps in filtering Caregivers when Facility creates schedule requests. While configuring a service type, one or multiple skills can be selected in ‘Skill Type’ field which are relevant to the selected Service Type. If matched, only relevant Caregivers will be filtered that helps to make an informed decision.

How to manage values for ‘Facility Type’ field?

Settings > Scheduling > DDM Scheduling

Facility profile contains a field ‘Facility Type’ that defines the type of a Facility. The options available in this field can be managed from the settings menu. From the ‘Facility Type’ from DDM scheduling, the user can add new options and edit the existing ones.
