The Client Authorization Expiration Report will show you the details of client authorizations for Medicaid, Veterans' Affairs or long-term care insurance clients, based on their expiry date.

To run this report hover over Reports in the main menu, then select Client from the pop-out menu, as shown.

Select Client Authorization Expiration from the list as shown.

This will open the report and allow you to filter the data as needed.

The following filters are available:

Office

This will allow you to choose which office to view, if you have more than one. If you have only one office, it will be preset.

Client Status

This will allow you to choose whether to view the authorizations for active or inactive clients. If required, both options can be chosen.

Clients

This will allow you to choose which client or clients to view. Multiple or all clients can be selected if required.

Payer

This will allow you to select which payer or payers to view. Multiple or all payers can be selected if required. For example, you could select to view all authorizations for all Medicaid payers, or just the authorizations for a single payer, such as Veterans' Affairs.

Territory

This will allow you to choose which territory to view, if you have more than one. Multiple or all territories can be selected if required.

Authorization End Date From/To

This will allow you to set a date range for authorization expiry dates. For example, if you wished to see all authorizations due to expire in September, as shown in the example above, you would set the From date to September 1st and the To date to September 30th.

Once you have set your filters, select View Report to generate the report. The report will show as follows.

The client and payer names for each authorization will be shown, as well as the authorization number, start and end dates and service type/billing rate. If the report has more than one page, you can use the options at the top of the page to navigate. You can also search within the report or download it as an Excel, CSV or PDF file using the save button.
