1. To set up custom rates in your client profile. First, you're going to navigate to the client listing.
2. Select the client for whom you want to customize rates.
3. On the left hand side, you'll see a menu of items that you can control in the client profile. Navigate to Billing Info and Settings to access the rates.
4. To adjust custom rates you're going to click on the rates tab.
5. To add an additional rate you can click on the green plus icon.
6. From the Drop Down menu, you will see all existing service types that you would have set up during your settings portion.
7. Check one or more Service Types from the Drop Down menu that you want to configure with the same Rates and Bill Unit Type.
8. Once your selection(s) is made, click Apply.
9. Next, choose from the Bill Type menu. Your choices will be 15 minutes, Per Visit, 30 minutes or Hourly.
10. In the next field, add your desired rate.
11. Once you have set your rate, you can enter a start date. It will default to today's date but if you have visits for which you have not yet billed or paid and you want to associate this rate with it you can click on the calendar icon and adjust the date back appropriately. By default, the rate period will end in 2050, and there's no need to alter that. Unless you're creating a new override date, at which point you can edit this and expire this date.
12. Next, select the bill unit type. This is going to be either bill minimum, bill scheduled or bill actual with your choice of rounding.
13. The most common is bill actual with round nearest this will by default round to the nearest 15 minutes, unless you've overridden the rounding units in your office settings.
14. Once you're happy with your new custom rate. You can click the green checkbox and it is added successfully. Now, regardless of what you have set at the office level for personal support, when you book a schedule with this client, it will override for personal support to this rate.
15. You can add caregiver bill rates, this is a customized bill rate for a specific caregiver working with this client. If you have to override the caregiver billing rate here based on the caregiver you can click on this section.
16. You choose the caregiver (s) for whom this Bill rate applies, and follow the same process as before. This would bill the client a custom rate for visits with specific caregivers for the designated service type.
17. If you pay all caregivers a separate, custom rate for visits with this client, "Pay Rates" is where you customize the rates.
18. And lastly, a specific care giver pay rate. So This is where you would set that up as well.
19. If a specific caregiver gets a specific rate for meeting with this client, you would customize those rates in this last section. Select the Caregiver(s) and follow the same process as on previous sections.
